It started in a thrift store at closing time. A pair of grails on the bottom shelf, mispriced, waiting. We bought them. We posted them. The DMs didn’t stop.
We realized the heat wasn’t gone — it was just buried under bad lighting, bad photography, and people who didn’t care. So we made a promise: every piece would be hunted, cleaned, shot, and verified before it left our hands.
We don’t scrape resale apps. We don’t bot drops. We drive. We dig. We text the right kid in the right city at the right time.
01
Source on foot.
Thrift stores, estate sales, garage racks. Bottom of the bin is where it lives.
02
Vet twice.
Tag, stitching, glue, weight, smell. Two pairs of eyes. Zero exceptions.
03
Photograph in daylight.
Real condition, real flaws. The piece arrives looking exactly like the listing.
── The Receipts
How we got here.
Spring 2026
One pair of grails in a thrift bin. The first JCK post lands. The DMs start coming in.
Summer 2026
We turn it into a habit. A studio table. Weekly hunts. The first JCK stamp gets printed.
Now
JCK Approved goes live as a storefront. Same hunt. Same standard. Now with a checkout button.
Act 03
The Drop.
A drop is not a restock. When a piece is gone, it is gone. The stamp goes in the archive and the next one takes its place.
Each piece ships with a JCK Approved stamp — a small physical promise that someone hunted it, vetted it, and put their name on it. Frame it. Stick it on your laptop. Or throw it out. The piece is yours either way.

── Next Chapter
The story keeps writing itself.
Every drop is a new entry in the log. Every stamp is a paragraph. Want in on the next one?
JCK’s eye for collectibles only continues to keep our jaws on the floor. Whether it’s his favorite childhood cartoon characters on a single-stitch, American-made, 100% cotton tee for a couple bucks, or 300 vintage Coke bottles snipped for the expensive price of $100, we continue to wonder if he’s chasing all the finds — or if the goods simply find him.
His thrifting journey started over a decade ago with a simple search: a Ralph Lauren Polo to fit in with a different crowd at a new school. That was only the jumping-off point. He fell in love with the hypebeast streetwear world, following drops and snatching his favorites from brands like Supreme, Palace, Kith, Bape, Hidden and others. The years went on and he kept curating, but eventually he got an itch for better quality and more unique pieces. That led him back to where it all started — sifting through the racks, hanger after hanger, eyes sharp for a banger.
His daily routine now includes dropping by his favorite Goodwills, chatting with the employees, and sourcing all the goods you see on JCK. One might even say it’s become a necessary, therapeutic measure… so thank you for helping keep him sane ;)

Gabi
Creative Director
Gabi loves to create. She joined the JCK team to help tell the stories of all these crazy finds and curate the aesthetic for the brand. Her thrifting journey started young, running the streets of San Francisco with her antique-hunting uncle. By the time she got to high school she was bored of seeing everyone wearing the same fast-fashion pieces at ridiculous prices, so she followed in her family’s footsteps and took a stab at thrifting.
Her love and desire for thrifting only grew as she traveled the world and collected pieces along the way. She can proudly say 98% of her current closet is thrifted, and she wouldn’t have it any other way. On any given day her fit could have touched the hands of curators from Vietnam to Texas to Berlin and back.
She’s dipped her toes in all sorts of creative fields — from tattooing to design research — and each one of her ventures has helped shape who she is today. When she’s not helping run JCK, she’s probably in one of three places: on the water with her pup, tattooing in any city but the one she resides in, or sharing a meal with her favorite fam and friends.

Gracie
Director of Operations
Gracie is the bread, the butter, and most importantly the main operator of JCK. So much so that she adopted the title of Lil Jay Jay when JCK stepped down from his big-boss responsibilities. Wondering who sent you that discounted offer? Gracie. Wondering who got your package to you on time? Gracie. Wondering who made your hand-written thank-you card? Gracie.
Yeah, she’s the one who keeps the rest of us in line — but really, she’s so much more than that. She’s our mama bear who makes sure we’re always fed (including the kitty), loves horses, all-around animal whisperer, mental-health advocate, paint-pen provider, group therapist, nurse on the sick days, and like any good mama, our loyal protector. Without Gracie there’s no JCK.
